UPDATE: The man who was taken to a nearby hospital with multiple gunshot wounds following Monday's shooting in McFarland has died, according to McFarland Police.
At this time, officials have not released the name of the victim except that he was 29 years old.
McFarland Police have not disclosed any suspect information.

ORIGINAL: A man is in the hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds after a shooting on 3rd Street in McFarland.
McFarland Police officers were dispatched to the area around 1:30 p.m. on Monday. When officers arrived on the scene they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, he was taken to a nearby hospital. His condition remains unknown.
McFarland PD has not identified any suspects.
The shooting prompted Kern Avenue Elementary School, which is in the area, to go on a temporary lock-down. The lock-down has since been lifted but officials have blocked off 3rd Street between Robertson and Lockwood Avenue.
