The Bakersfield Police Department is asking the community for help in identifying and locating two suspects who stole jewelry from Helzberg Diamonds located in the Valley Plaza Mall.

On Aug. 15 the two men entered the store and while one distracted the employee the other removed pieces of jewelry from a display case.

They are being described by police as:

• Suspect 1- Hispanic male, 35-40 years of age, 5'7”-5'8”, stocky build, wearing a black and white baseball hat, dark colored polo shirt, with white shorts.
• Suspect 2- Hispanic male, 40-50 years of age, 5’7”-5’8”, short black hair, stocky build, wearing a gray polo shirt, blue jean pants and brown boots
