The Kern County Elections Office is searching for poll workers for the statewide direct primary election, which will be held on June 5th.
Poll workers are needed to staff polls throughout Kern County
Poll workers are paid the following stipend for their service:
- Site Supervisor - $150 stipend
- Supervisor-Inspector - $150 stipend
- Inspector - $120 stipend
- Clerk - $110 stipend
Below are requirements that need to be met in order to be a poll worker:
- Be a registered voter
- Able to follow written instructions
- Able to serve from 6 a.m. to approximately 10 p.m.
