BEAR VALLEY SPRINGS, Calif. — We are getting information into the 23ABC newsroom about a possible crash of a hot air balloon in Bear Valley Springs at the Annual Firecracker Balloon Festival.
County fire was called out to reports of a balloon into a tree off Rolling Oak Drive. Initial reports indicated there were three people at the scene.
We talked to a representative with the festival who would only tell us that a balloon "landed" close to a tree.
The flights are done for the day and she said they'll be back in the skies Saturday morning at 7 a.m.
This is a developing story. We will provide additional information as it becomes available.
