According to Bakersfield Police, an accident on Planz Road and Sandra Drive caused the outage. Officials say a car hit a power pole causing the outage. BPD says injuries are moderate.
5:30 A.M. : There is a power outage in South Bakersfield impacting 2,316 customers.
