A power outage is affecting residents in west Bakersfield.

Pacific Gas and Electric is reporting that 561 customers are being affected. The outage appears to be located in West Park Community, just west of Highway 58.

Parts of Truxton Avenue and California Avenue are included in the outage.

The cause of the outage is unknown; PG&E is currently investigating.
