Power pole down in Southeast Bakersfield, outage affecting over 200 customers

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — According to the CHP, a power pole in Southeast Bakersfield is down after a truck collided into it in the area of Fairview and Sparks.

Officials said that a trailer was hitched to a truck and somehow detached before colliding with the pole.

Both PG&E and CHP are on scene. This has caused an outage affecting over 200 customers in the area. The estimated restoration is expected for 6 p.m.
