A power outage in southwest Bakersfield left nearly 4,000 customers without power Friday morning. 

The outage was reported around 7:30 a.m. 

PG&E crews were able to restore power to all but 184 customers within 30 minutes.

The cause of the outage is unknown.

When power will be restored to all of the customers in the area is unknown at this time.
