With California's primary more than a month away, presidential hopeful Ted Cruz will be opening up an office in Bakersfield.

The Texas senator is currently trailing Donald Trump on the Republican side of the presidential race in terms of delegates.

Late last week Cruz's campaign confirmed they will be opening an office located at 1901 Chester Avenue, Suite 201. 

His office is set to open Monday at 10 a.m.
