The process has started in moving the historic water tower at Bakersfield High School to the Kern County Museum.
As part of a renovation project at BHS, the water tower is being taken down and moved to the museum. The tower will be taken down and dismantled before it is moved sometime next week.
Once the water tower is moved, it will sit next to the clock tower at the Kern County Museum.
