Sixteen people have tested positive for COVID-19 at Valley Convalescent Hospital.

On Thursday, Kern County Public Health officials confirmed that nine residents and seven healthcare workers have tested positive for the coronavirus at the facility.

Public Health also confirming that 11 residents of the Kingston Healthcare Center have died from COVID-19.

Public health says 67 of the 107 residents and 49 employees have tested positive at Kingston.
