ROSAMOND, Calif. — The Public Health Department has closed down the restaurant inside the Diamond Jim's Casino in Rosamond after they found rodent droppings in storage areas and a build up of dust and debris on open containers of food.
Diamond Jim's is located on 118 20th W Street.
Officials said open containers of food were being exposed to environmental contamination, there was a a build up of grease and food under and around kitchen equipment, and rodent droppings found under the grill, food prep tables and service area.
The casino itself remains open.
