Kern Public Health confirms six more residents have tested positive for the coronavirus

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Kern County Public Health Services Department has confirmed that six more Kern County residents have tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Public Health has previously told 23ABC News that when they are notified about a positive patient they investigating these cases to determine potential exposure sources and any contacts the patients may have had.

This brings the total cases of COVID-19 in Kern County residents to 46 plus the one non-resident who also tested positive.
