Just weeks before the start of the NFL's regular season, Bakersfield's own Derek Carr is getting even more attention, following a summer that's seen him sign the richest contract in the league's history.
On Wednesday, the Raiders released a mini-documentary on Derek Carr, called, "Faith, Family, Football: The Derek Carr Story".
He didn't become a leader and Pro Bowl QB overnight.

The video, which runs a little less than 10 minutes long, takes an in-depth look at Carr, his family and his roots.
It features interviews with Derek Carr, along with his dad Roger, and his brothers David and Darren.
This video comes on the same day ESPN's "E:60" announced they would be airing a feature on Derek Carr coming this Sunday.
