Mill Creek Park was buzzing this afternoon as wedding and winter formal pictures were taken under the cover of the bridge.
Kevin and Clara Williams had to move their wedding pictures because of the rain, but Clara said that she was excited about the rain.
"I wanted it to rain," said Clara. "He wasn't too keen on that but rain is good luck."
The Williams wedding party shared the party with Frontier High School students, who were anxious to get started with their winter formal. Outside of concerns about hair and some shivering, the students took the rain in stride.
"We're not really depressed about it," said junior Trisha Uzih. "We're just really excited to go to Rabobank and have a good time with our friends."
"Oh yeah, we're excited," said junior Mia Bruce. "All of us girls, we're all excited. Going to all hang out together and just have fun."
Even though Kevin Williams wasn't thrilled about rain on his wedding day, he didn't let it affect his big day.
"I like the heat," said Williams. "She's happy though so I'm happy."
