Heavy winds and rain arrived in parts of Kern County on Friday afternoon. The weather caused downed trees and power outages in parts of Bakersfield.
Current road conditions in Kern County:
- Rock debris in both on Hwy 178 near the Lower Richbar Campground.
- Snow coming down on Pine Mountain Club but its not sticking
- Tree down across roadway on Cerro Noroeste Rd. and Sr166.
- Power pole and wires down on Buena Vista Blvd and S Vineland Rd.
- Traffic collision on Roberts Lane and Central Ave.
- Traffic collision, unknown injuries on WB Sr58 near Sr223
- Traffic collision on WB Sr58 near General Beale Rd.
- Traffic collision no injuries on NB I-5 near the #2 turn thru.
- Traffic hazard on EB Sr58 at Oswell St.
