Every Thursday evening at Civic Dancer Center, there is the one and only adult ballet class offered at the studio. The class is made up of women in their 20s all the way up to Darrellyn, who is 74 years old (men are also welcome to attend). 

Most in the class danced when they were younger then quit. When they became adults, realized they missed the grace of ballet. 

"If you think you have any desire at all to dance, don’t make excuses and say oh I’m too old because we aren’t getting any younger and it won’t get any easier," said 63-year-old Laurel McMahon.
