A USC student who was facing rape charges for allegedly drugging and raping a female student in her dorm room has been cleared.
Armaan Karim Premjee, 20, was arrested in April on rape by use of drugs and sexual penetration by a foreign object charges.
Premjee appeared in court where the judge dismissed one charge while the prosecutor withdrew the other.
If convicted as charged, Premjee could have faced a maximum of 10 years in prison.
