The Bakersfield Elementary Teachers Association hosted the 20th annual Read Across America – Read 2 Children Day over three days at two different locations.
Anchors and reporters at 23ABC participated in Read Across America all across Bakersfield.
23ABC’s Laura Acevedo read to students at Willow Head Start Wednesday afternoon, and Feven Kay read to Frank West Elementary students Thursday. Employees across our newsroom read to students across Bakersfield.
Kern Count Firefighters also participated and read to children Thursday.
