Reading Cinemas at the Valley Plaza Mall has applied for their alcohol license. If approved, the theater would be able to sell beer and wine at the movies.
While many moviegoers think its a great idea others say it would ruin the family environment. Others say its not different than a restaurant that sells alcohol.
Movie theaters that sell alcohol are nothing new, some theaters in LA already provide this service.
Theater officials had no comment other than confirming the license is in process.
