Family members are asking for the community's help after a shooting left a three-year-old dead, and his brother and pregnant mother with gunshot wounds.

A relief fund has been established for funeral costs for Major Sutton after a gunman opened fire inside his central Bakersfield home last Friday.

The Coroner's Office said on Wednesday that Sutton suffered multiple gunshot wounds. 

Sutton's mother, Johniece Williams, was shot several times, while his brother, King Smith, was shot in the hand.

Sutton died after being shot in the chest. Williams's unborn child survived the shooting.
