BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Local Congressman Kevin McCarthy responded to Iranian missiles attack on social media Tuesday.
Tonight we must be united in the fight against terrorism and those who would do our country harm. America’s full support is with our courageous service men and women standing the watch.

More than a dozen missiles have hit two airbases in Iraq that houses U.S. troops early on Wednesday morning, the Pentagon confirmed
The attacks were located at the Al-Asad Airbase and Irbil Airbase in Iraq, where United States troops are stationed.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it has launched "tens of missiles," at the bases, Iranian State TV reported. Iranian leaders previously vowed a military response after the U.S. launched an attack that killed Iranian General Qasem Soleimani last week.
The White House said it is aware of the reports.
