Bakersfield is the 59th best place to live in the U.S. for Veterans, according to a new report by WalletHub.
The best city for Veterans to live in is Scottsdale, Arizona with Irvine, California ranking 3rd.
The worst city for Veterans is Detroit.
WalletHub put together a report comparing 100 of the most populated U.S. cities across 21 key metrics from “housing affordability” to “availability of VA health facilities”.
The top ten cities are as follows:
- Scottsdale, AZ
- Laredo, TX
- Irvine, CA
- Plano, TX
- Austin, TX
- El Paso, TX
- Colorado Springs, CO
- San Diego, CA
- Tampa, FL
- Orlando, FL
461,000 Veterans were unemployed as of October, the report stated.
