South High School is currently on lockdown after reports of shots fired in the area.
According to Bakersfield Police, there were reports of shots being fired in the area and the sounds of a car crash.
BPD says they found one shell casing and car that had crashed near the school.
There are no reports of anyone being hit by any bullets.
