Bakersfield's own Derek Carr has reportedly agreed on a 5-year, $125 million extension with the Raiders.

NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport is reporting that Carr and the Raiders finalized the deal Thursday morning. 

Rapoport is citing sources familiar with the deal. The extension would make Carr the highest-paid player in the league. 

While the Raiders have not officially announced the deal, Carr took to Twitter, seemingly to react to the contract. 

The tweet read: "Now it's done. From the jump I've wanted to be a Raider 4 life. One step closer to that! Blessed!!! Business done! Let's just play now!!!"
