The victim of a deadly shooting in Ridgecrest has been identified.

According to the Kern County Coroner's office, 19-year-old Danny Avalos was shot early Thursday morning.

Avalos was shot in the area of Robalo Street and North Gold Canyon Drive just after midnight. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

The Ridgecrest Police Department is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest and prosecution of any suspects.
