A house in Ridgecrest was reported on fire Tuesday at 3:47 p.m.
Firefighters arrived to heavy smoke and fire coming from a door and several windows.
Three animals died in the fire. Property and content damage is estimated at $75,000.
The owner was not home at the time of the incident.
Initial reports stated a victim was possibly inside. The cause is still under investigation.
