RIDGECREST, Calif. — A liquor store that was hit twice by the recent earthquakes is back open for business. The owners of Eastridge Liquors tell 23ABC that all items that spilled to the floor Friday evening have been picked up.
The store was featured in many of the viral videos and news coverage that came out of Ridgecrest following the earthquakes.
Despite being severely hit during the quakes and working to clean up they were one of only a handful of businesses that remained open all night on both Thursday and Friday to help provide people with anything they needed. They only closed for a short while Monday to finish clean up.
Ridgecrest officials are reminding everyone impacted by the quake to check their homes and businesses for possible structural damage. If you suspect that your home or business has been damaged by the quake you are encouraged to call 1-760-499-5083. You can also make reports online through email at quake damage@ridgecrest-ca.gov.
Ridgecrest police say the city has a task force of inspectors available to review conditions.
