A Ridgecrest man has been identified by the Kern County coroner as the victim of a traffic fatality on Bowman Road, east of Brown Road in Inyokern.

44-year-old Shawn Michael Chromi was the operator of a motorcycle who was struck by a vehicle around 5:35 p.m. on Saturday, November 24.

He died at the scene and a postmortem examination will be performed to confirm the cause and manner of his death.
