BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Coroner has identified the victim of a traffic fatality on the 395 on Monday, February 4.

According to officials, 30-year-old Branden Marquise Turner was the operator of a vehicle that collided with a semi-truck just north of Athel Avenue in Inyokern at approximately 3:05 a.m.

He died at the scene.

A postmortem examination will be conducted to confirm the cause and manner of his death.
