Ridgecrest Police arrest 2 for burglary at Ridgecrest Cinemas damaged in recent earthquakes

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — According the Ridgecrest Police Department's Facebook page, on July 19 around 11:00 p.m. the dispatch center received a call for a burglary at the Ridgecrest Cinemas damaged in the recent series of earthquakes.

Detectives collected evidence from surrounding businesses, including video. RPD arrested two Ridgecrest residents in connection to the burglary.

37-year-old Raphael Schumacher and 41-year-old Rolando Estrada are charged with commercial burglary which includes looting while committing a burglary during a state of emergency and possession or stolen property.
