RIDGECREST, Calif. — Following the 6.4 magnitude earthquake that hit Ridgecrest, the local police department is asking its residents to check their homes and businesses for possible structural damage.
"If you have suspected structural damage to your or business. (Small or cosmetic cracks in the plaster or drywall generally doesn't constitute structural damage)," said the Ridgecrest Police Department. "The city has a task force of inspectors available to review the condition of your home or business."
If you suspect your home or business has been damaged by the earthquake, you are asked to call 760-499-5083 to make an inspection request.
