RIDGECREST, Calif. — The Ridgecrest Police Department is warning people of credit card reader scams at a local gas station.

According to the Inyo County Sheriff's Office, the pumps at the Coso Junction Chevron were outfitted with mini memory cards attached to possible bluetooth devices.

They have since been removed, but RPD wants to remind everyone to be cautious of scammers.
