BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Starting Monday night, work will begin to reconstruct the roadway on Brundage Lane from Washington Street to Oswell Street.

Roadway work will be conducted from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday, July 13-31.

Drivers are encouraged to allow themselves extra travel time and use alternate routes.

Road closures will be expected at Mount Vernon Drive and Oswell Street intersections during reconstruction.

The work on this project is expected to be completed by late August.
