On Saturday, June 2, the Bakersfield Police Department will be temporarily closing several intersections in downtown Bakersfield to assist with the Celebration of Life Ceremony for former Mayor Harvey Hall.

The procession is scheduled to begin at 8:45 a.m. and end at the Rabobank Arena.

BPD says there will be no procession leaving the Rabobank Arena at the leaving the ceremony. BPD drivers should expect some delays and closures.

BPD says the procession will follow this route:   

· Exit Golden State Mall onto 'F' Street, 

· North on 'F' Street to Golden State Ave (STE 204), 

· East on Golden State Ave (STE 204) to 'Q' Street, 

· South on 'Q' Street to 21st Street, 

· West on 21st Street to 'N' Street, 

· South on 'N' Street to Truxtun Avenue,  

· East on Truxtun Avenue to 'Q' Street,  

· South on 'Q' Street to 14th Street, 

· West on 14th Street to the Rabobank Arena parking lot.
