The Bakersfield Police Department arrested four people, following a robbery and vehicle chase in Southwest Bakersfield.
Around 10:44 p.m. Wednesday, BPD responded to a report of a robbery in the ampm parking lot on Ming Avenue.
BPD said the suspects allegedly confronted the victim with a knife, but the victim resisted and the suspects drove away without any cash.
A short time later the suspects confronted another person on Planz and Wible roads, according to BPD. They robbed that person at gunpoint before driving away in a Jeep Cherokee.
At 11:15 p.m., officers located the suspects on Panama Lane and Wible Road. They drove away, which then led to a vehicle chase.
The suspects were eventually apprehended on Highway 99, just north of Stockdale Highway.
BPD arrested Francisco Acala, 23, Kalani Galvan, 22, Uriel Valdez, 22, and Giovanni Estrada, 22. They are all facing multiple charges, including robbery and resisting arrest.
