It’s been more than a year since construction started on Rosedale Highway.

Today it's finally almost finished and area business owners couldn't be happier.

The plan for the Rosedale Highway Widening Project was to improve the roadway along one of Bakersfield’s busiest traffic routes.

And some of Kern County's most valuable players were there when the ribbon was cut, re-opening the road today.
