Drivers say they are getting frustrated with the Rosedale Highway widening project. Crews have been working on the road for more than a year.                  

In the last couple of days, the construction from Gibson Street to Fruitvale has gone black and you can only see what the car lights light up.

Officials from Thomas Roads Improvement Project say that's a good sign and it means that part of the highway is almost complete. The road has been paved and crews are now working on restriping the lanes. They say the lights have moved because so have the workers now focused on the west side of Fruitvale.

While some drivers are more patient than others- most just want the project to be complete sooner, rather than later.

The widening project is expected to be complete in the fall of this year.
