Officials with the Rosedale Middle School turned back time on Thursday as they hosted a live Civil War reenactment for their Social Studies students.
During this reenactment, eighth grade students listened to individuals portraying different personas from the Civil War.
Officials said that during the 8th grader's PE classes, they learned what it was like to be a soldier during the war.
This demonstration also included the tasting of hardtack (baked by the teachers) and the firing of blanks from an infantryman's rifle.
