BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Rosemary's Creamery will be closed this Wednesday in honor of former owner Frank DeMarco who died last week at 89 years old.
DeMarco died Jan. 27, due to complications from congestive heart failure.
For the last 36 years, his legacy brought sweetness and joy to the community, through the sweet treats at Rosemary's Creamery, located off of F Street and 28th Street in Downtown Bakersfield.
Rosemary's has become a Bakersfield staple since it opened back in 1984. Named after Frank's wife, Rosemary DeMarco, the family tradition is carried on by their daughters Roseanne and Katie, and their grandson Patrick.
