A runaway pony that was roaming the streets of Bakersfield over the weekend has been reunited with his owner, according to Kern County Animal Services.

Early Saturday morning, Animal Services assisted the California Highway Patrol with the loose pony, which made his way down Rosedale Highway and eventually turned onto Fruitvale Avenue and headed towards the shelter.

According to the Kern County Animal Services Facebook page, the pony has since been reunited with his owners.
