Rural Crime arrests two for stealing farm equipment, one suspect in violation of probation

On September 9, 2016, Rural Crime detectives were notified that a piece of farm equipment had been stolen from the bed of a truck near Taft Highway and Ashe Road.
 
 
The farm equipment had a GPS installed in it, and Rural Crime detectives tracked the equipment to Cerro Drive, just east of Wible Road in Bakersfield. Detectives served a search warrant at a residence in the area and located the stolen equipment. 

Rural Crime detectives arrested Tyler Rhodes, 29, of Bakersfield, California, for possession of stolen property.
 
As they served the search warrant, detectives located Anselma Bilbrey, 35, of Bakersfield, hiding under a couch.
 
Bilbrey is on active probation and was arrested for obstructing an investigation. Both Rhodes and Bilbrey were booked into the Central Receiving Facility.
