Salty’s BBQ & Catering will commemorate its 5th anniversary this Sunday, October with a fundraiser from 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. to support the family of Jack Beaton, who was killed in the deadly shooting in Las Vegas.
Jack Beaton’s son, Jake Beaton, is an employee of Salty’s BBQ.
Salty’s BBQ will contribute 10% of its Sunday sales to the Beaton Family. Additionally, the employees of Salty’s BBQ have chosen to donate 100% of their Sunday tips to the Beaton Family.
Salters and his staff decided to focus on supporting one of their own, Jake Beaton. Jake Beaton’s father, Jack Beaton, was killed as a result of injuries sustained while shielding his wife from gunfire during the mass shooting in Las Vegas on Sunday, October 1.
“Jack Beaton was a great father who was proud of his son and the work he does as a grill master at Salty’s BBQ,” stated Salters. “Our entire Salty’s BBQ family grieves with the Beatons, and we are glad to be able to help support them in this trying time.”
On Saturday October 7 2017, there will be a funeral for Jack Beaton at 10 a.m. at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church located on 12300 Reina Rd. This funeral is open to the public and anyone who would like to pay their respects to the the Beaton family.
