(Update 12/14/17 3:53 p.m.) The San Diego Firefighter that was killed in the line of duty while fighting the Thomas Fire has been identified as Cory Iverson. Iverson was a Fire Engineer in San Diego.

The family has been notified and the "incident is still unfolding."
