Sandbag Saturday, a program offered by Kern County Fire Department will be held tomorrow, 12/19/15, in order to help residents prepare for the upcoming El Nino season. Preparing for a large scale flood event is critical, and must be done now. The event runs from 10a.m to 12p.m and crews of Kern County Fire Department will be standing by to assist.

- Taft - Corner of 10th and Front Streets
- Wasco - Corner of G and 8th Streets
- Frazier Park - Frazier Park Community Center (3801 Park Drive)
- Cuddy Valley - Cuddy Hall (335 Lakewood Drive - noon to 2 pm)
- Lamont - David Head Community Center (10300 San Diego Street)
- Kern River Valley - Veterans Building (6405 Lake Isabella Blvd.)
- Bakersfield - KCFD Headquarters (5642 Victor Street)
If you can't join us this Saturday, additional sandbags can be purchased at home improvement stores and online.
