Sandrini's, one of the staples of the Downtown Bakersfield late-night scene, has announced that it is shutting down for a few days after an employee was exposed to COVID-19.
On Tuesday night, Sandrini's, which is located on Eye Street, posted a message on Facebook saying, "A staff member was exposed to the COVID-19 virus outside of the restaurant. Our safety precautions, which were previously in place, will remain when we reopen."
The Facebook post says Sandrini's will reopen on Monday. Sandrini also serves as a restaurant during the day.
