Santa Claus won't be coming to Macy's this year, breaking nearly 160-year-long tradition

You can catch Santa flying into Kern County this weekend when he visits town.

You and your family can drive out to Minter Field Air Museum at 11 a.m. on Saturday to see Santa. This is a free drive-thru event only, so stay in your car, stay safe and see Santa.

Children who attend will receive a stuffed animal as part of Ming Avenue's stuffed animal give away.

This event will go until 1 p.m. and is located at 401 Vultee Avenue in Shafter, 1 mile west of Highway 99 and Lerdo Highway.
