The Small Business Administration is making money available for businesses that were affected by "civil unrest" across the country.
The disaster declaration makes SBA assistance available in Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Ventura counties.
Businesses will be able to borrow up to $2 million for repairs related to events that took place starting on May 26, the day after George Floyd was killed in Minneapolis.
Additional funds are also available to help businesses prevent similar types of damage from happening in the future.
The deadline to apply for property damage help is August 17th.
