BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — One special-needs student was on-board when a school bus was rear-ended on southbound SR-99 just north of Merced Avenue.

According to CHP, a rear-end collision happened between a big rig and the school bus.

CHP says no one was injured in the crash. CHP also says the cause of the crash is unknown, and it is being investigated.
