BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Search and rescue crews are looking for a man reported missing in the Kern River Sunday afternoon, according to the Kern County Sheriff's Office.

The man went missing shortly after 2 p.m. east of the mouth of the canyon, according to KCSO.

So far, officials have not confirmed whether the man has been located.
